"2 BY SINNER" written and directed by John Sinner stars Los Angeles Bay area natives Betsy Moore and John Sinner. Matt Richter, former Tech Director at Highways Performance Space in Santa Monica is the Lighting and Sound Designer.

Synopsis: L.A. surrealist's dynorama themepark ride visits modern Adam & Eve dynamic! Part gothic/Part screwball! See 10'-tall queenly Sis and shell-shocked sibling's apocalyptic playground! Witness fantasy freakout of disintegrating housewife escaping husband's domestic bliss!

Sinner describes his first works chosen by FringeNYC as "A two-actor diptych. A modern take on Adam and Eve, trapped in a deteriorating Garden of Eden. Presented as Brother and Sister, in stylized white face, part gothic kabuki, part slapstick vaudeville, living in their own isolated apocalyptic playground. The (crazed) siblings play, bicker, sing and dance frantically as they attempt to ward off their psychological endgame."

"The second piece explores the "happily ever after" concept of Husband and Wife. Wife attempts to liberate herself from the classic "Doll's House" Syndrome, but short circuits before us, sharing her fantastical sexual and intellectual yearnings as her hubby blissfully snores."

John reveals, "As a gay artist, I'm drawn to exploring and telling stories about those who feel disenfranchised from having a seat at the table of our American heterosexual, homogenous culture."

Receiving two Backstage West "Garland Theatre Excellence Award (s)" for his critically acclaimed play "Blood Is My Legacy! (A Theatrical Extravaganza of Pure Family Values)."

Critics have taken notice of John's unusual style.

ReviewPlays.com- "Sinner has been one of the prominent exponents of surrealistic theatre in Los Angeles... Sinner is the kind of playwright that goes for the throat"

LA Weekly- "Savage, strikingly ambitious and creative...stylish, darkly funny play is a flat-out kick!" "Sinner eschews a stark realism for an artfully constructed, hauntingly surreal, yet playful stage world"

Backstage West - "Sinner is like an artist with the vision of a masterpiece, a fabulous set of paints and a first-rate canvas."

Diagnosed and living with Multiple Sclerosis, John has recently "come out of the Multiple Sclerosis closet" and faced his deepest fears. The New York Multiple Sclerosis Society has recognized John's inspiring energy.
